Afghanistan are expected in Bulawayo on October 13, for the tour, which will see all the seven matches played at the Queens Sports Club in Zimbabwe’s second-largest city.
The ODI matches are on October 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24. The T20 matches are on October 27 and 29.
Afghanistan were last in Zimbabwe in July 2014, for a 28-day tour that included four ODI matches at the Queens Sports Club and two four-day matches at the Country Club in Harare.
The ODI series ended two-all.
Commenting on the upcoming tour, Zimbabwe Cricket chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani said: “As we push through our commitment to have our national side play as many international games as possible, we are pleased to have Afghanistan touring, just a few days after we will have played host to Ireland in the latest of a busy season that has also seen India, New Zealand and Pakistan in Zimbabwe.
“The last time Afghanistan were here, they were no pushovers and we shared the spoils in the hard-fought series. This time around, we hope for victory so that we repay the thousands of cricket lovers who always turn up at Queens in support of Zimbabwe.”
All the matches are at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
